Birthers of color are faced with implicit biases that have proven not only to have lasting affects but in some cases, fatal.
Black birthers are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white birthers, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
We strive to connect birthing people of color with dedicated and experienced community birth professionals who are committed to supporting and educating birthers throughout their perinatal experience.
