We caught up with the Founder and CEO, Heather Simonson, LCSW and Certified Sex Therapist, and asked her some questions about what makes her practice so successful.

List the services you provide
Counseling, Sex Therapy, Pre/Postnatal, Fertility, Children and Adult Yoga, Childbirth Education, Reiki, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Doula Services, Post-partum support, Birthingways, Support Groups and more.

Out of all of the services you provide, what would you say is your specialty?
Sex Therapy and Prenatal Yoga

What inspired you to start this practice?
Seeing many teen pregnancies as a teen myself inspired me to become a therapist and focus on positive sexuality and sexuality education, Then after I had my daughter 14 years ago, my pregnancy, birth and doula inspired me to expand my practice into perinatal health and support services.

What keeps you going every day?
My kids, my yoga practice and the amazing work I get to do!

What is your favorite part about your business?
Do I have to pick a favorite? I love teaching prenatal yoga and I love working with clients who invest in their therapy. When you see the transformation due to their commitment and love for themselves, it is the best!

What is one thing you would like us to know about your business?
We are a one stop shop for pregnant women for the majority of their childbirth education and preparation and their health needs. Women can benefit from joining our community in so many ways, even if it's enjoying just one of our services. Our business model promotes the most success when people choose an array of services for truly holistic healthcare.

What is the best compliment you've received about your services?
People tell me often that I've changed their lives and that feels amazing, but I'm not the one who changes it, I'm just the support they need to feel empowered to make those changes themselves.

What makes your business unique?
There is no center on all of Long Island that exists offering the array of services we do with the focus on maternal health
