We caught up with Sharon Penn and asked her some questions about what makes her so successful.
What inspired you to start this business?
Supporting a close friend with a quiet birth, and my past own births, and my Bradley teacher 22+ years ago.
How long have you been in this business?
I have 15+ years of birth doula experience.
What keeps you going every day?
My passion for birthing and seeing couples inspired to take on the journey of labor and birth.

What is your favorite part about your business?
Seeing clients gain knowledge and tools to handle the amazing challenges of labor and birth. My favorite comment from a couple is when labor starts and I get a call from them saying "dont rush over.....we are doing everything that you taught us and we are handling the contractions!"
Out of all of the services you provide, what would you say is your specialty?
Doula Birth Support and Birth Education classes
What is one thing you would like us to know about your business?
If you bump into me in the supermarket, or in line at the local bank and start a conversation with me you may very well get a mini birth education session where we find ourselves talking about the amazing journey that labor and birth can be for you!
What is the best compliment you've received in your practice?
My biggest comment is when my clients in recovery are holding and bonding with their newborn, and turn to me and ask me if I will be their doula with baby number 2!
What makes your practice unique?
I pride myself on being evidence based and will always back up suggestions and information with research and medical guidelines. I am from Israel and speak Hebrew and English and love to read about a
