What type of practice is Balance Mental Health Counseling, PLLC?
Mental Health Counseling for moms, dads, and children with anxiety disorder (OCD, Social, generalized, selective mutism, and adjustment to life changes)List all of the services your business offersWe offer individual counseling to moms and dads for postpartum depression and anxiety. We also serve mothers during pregnancy. In addition to working with adults we also provide individual counseling to children ages 6 and up with Anxiety disorders.We currently offer three support groups:
Moms postpartum support group
Dads postpartum support group
Spanish Speaking moms support group
Out of all of the services you offer, what would you say is your specialty?Perinatal Mental health counseling specific to obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in women.What inspired you to start this practice?Being Hispanic and Spanish speaking there is a lack of providers in the community to serve this population. My interest in maternal mental health started when I become a mother and was aware of how isolating motherhood can be and wanted to serve this population.How long have you been in this business/practice?since 2015What keeps you going every day?See the positive changes my clients make.What's your favorite part of your practice?Working with new people everyday and connect with local agencies and non for profit centers.What makes your practice unique?We specialize in maternal mental health serving all moms, dads, and children and have providers of many race and cultures.What is the best compliment you've received about your business/practice?That we are accessible and reliable.What is one thing you would like the community to know about your practice? We are here to help regardless of financial situation.Do you have any special announcements that you want to share with the community?We are starting a new postpartum moms group on Tuesdays at 12PM meeting weekly.We accept the following health insurances Empire BCBS, Fidelis Care, and Compsych EAP. For out-of-network we have had great success in getting paid by Aetna health insurance.
